It was a stressful morning. I got three 'phone calls from "Mobile IT" this morning, the end result being them telling me that they wouldn't fix my laptop after all. Apparently, the Vaio is the only non-Apple product that needs to be dismantled *completely* to gain access to the keyboard, and their keyboards cost three times as much as any other laptop.
They suggested I try North East Peripherals. I called them and they're going to swing by sometime tomorrow to pick up the laptop. No mention of price yet...
Dialysis started out badly - for over an hour the alarms on my machine kept going off. But after I had eaten my tea, we tried leaning the chair back a little. This both fixed the alarm problem and facilitated a two-and-a-half hour nap.
So, I didn't get to watch all the TV I planned, but I left feeling bright and refreshed.
During dialysis, I watched "House of Lies", "American Dad and "Bob's Burgers". I got home *just* in time to watch "Shetland", "Law & Order: SVU" and "8 out of 10 Cats".
