I made it up to see Mother, and she was really looking frail and tired. She has also lost about half her weight. The doctors say she doesn't have all that long.
Er1c drove me there and back. We stopped on the way there for a rather pleasant breakfast.
My Sister seems to be taking things well. She was there for most of the visit, which was a huge help. Even ill, my Mother can't stop "pushing my buttons", usually in the format of a 20-minute monologue without pausing for breath, a question, then another 20 minute monologue about something different spoken across the answer. The three hours I was there felt like thirty.
Of course, when I got home I found a card through my door telling me they had tried to deliver a package I've been waiting nearly a month for. I have mornming appointments on Monday and Tuesday, so I'll have to arrange for a Wednesday redelivery.
I watched "Salamander", and I plan to watch "Banshee" and possibly "Andromeda" before I crash.
