I just made it in from Bisset and Hazel's, threw off my coat and ran to the toilet. My bum had barely touched the seat when it exploded. My bum, that is, not the seat. 
I got taken by "the runs" halfway down their stairs on my way out, and had to use all my strength to hold it back on the car ride home.
Christmas day at Bisset and Hazel's was rather jolly, gut problems notwithstanding, and George was on hand to give me a lift there and back. 
I watched "Elysium", "Doctor Who" and "The Dish", along with most of "Stephen Fry's top 100 Gadgets" repeated from two or three years ago. 
My stomach is still churning, so I don't know if I'd manage to go to sleep yet. I might browse Netflix a while before I crash.

Oh Peet how dreadful, that is a spine-chilling account. Poor you.
Oh dear me.
Well, I'm downloading Who and will watch it later on. Maybe I'll keep it for the evening, I don't know.
Hoping that my copy is going to be good; it's a very early posting.
Hoping also that VLC can play .mkv files.
Otherwise I'll just have to download it again when there are more up.
Well done for holding it in until the moment of truth.

Indeed.
Things have been pretty much under control today, except I;ve been really tired. I guess it's all down to the antibiotics - I finished a two-week course just before I headed out for Christmas dinner.
