OK, to be accurate, making a *pair* of spectacles. 
My pack of black Sugru arrived this morning, and I was able to fashion rubber linings to reattach the legs to my "proper" spectacles, so I can see to watch TV with subtitles again! 
I also wrapped all my gifts for Wednesday and filled a bag of "hair goodies" to drop off in the nurses' room at the clinic tomorrow. 
I was supposed to go out to Bisset and Hazel's, but the weather looked bad and the forecast was worse, plus I'm seeing them in two days anyway, so I called and cancelled. 
As it happens, the weather hasn't sounded nearly as bad as the forecast (a "Yellow Alert") suggested. 
So, I'vev huddled down by the heater with a couple of cans of 
and watched Netflix instead. 
I watched "Stargate Atlantis", "Californication", "Regular Show", "The Numbers Station" and "John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show". 
It's going to be difficult getting out to the taxi tomorrow because I have a huge package in my hall that was delivered for my downstairs neighbour... 
It's too big to carry down on the off-chance, so my plan is to ring her doorbell when I get *back* from the clinic tomorrow, and if she answers I'll go up and fetch it.
