I just finished a large tub of potato salad; 28p from Tesco, display until today, use by tomorrow. smiley - chefsmiley - ok And I'm washing it down with Tesco Value Cider... (£1.49 for 2 litres, 4.2% ABV, minimal sweetners! smiley - cheers)

As you can tell from that, the trip to Maplin and Tesco went as planned. smiley - smiley I also remembered to post a copy of "Doctor Who" on to Dagesh. smiley - biggrin

I had a visit around teatime from James "the Weird Person". He wanted to use my machine to send some Hotmail. It turned out the Hotmail servers were down, but he was too impatient, harrumphing, clumping and repeatedly telling me to try again. All the time I was trying to ignore him and listen to the radio. smiley - grr Eventually, about ten to seven, the server reappeared. There was still a good five minutes of him complaining "The cursor's an I-bar on that link" and suchlike until everything was back up and running again. He then hogged my machine all the way through "The Archers". smiley - steam Eventually, I used my Amazon account to buy him a book (1p for the book, £2.25 P&P! smiley - yikes) and he left for home.

I'm currently watching "The Mothman Prophecies". It's moderately creepy, but the sfx they use to underline the creepiness is getting a little wearing. While I watch it, I'm recording "The Long Kiss Goodnight". It's a much better movie, but on a channel with a worse-quality picture. smiley - erm
