I can't remember their name at the moment, but about 15 years ago I came across a company making an anti-SAD product... Basically, it was a huge picture frame containing several "daylight" fluorescent tubes and a timer circuit. You fitted it on the wall close to your bed, and it switched the tubes on, one at a time, giving you the effect of a fake sunrise a couple of hours before the real one. I was told it was surprisingly effective!
Of course, with the light mornings up here at the moment, the one thing I can't blame any depression on is SAD.

This keyboard is too much for me after all the drink I've had.
