Hi tom here, ok, right I currenlty work for the CAC we have a collum in the post http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/thepost have a look for the CAC contium, basiclally we like to do a bit of everything and i would really like to do some poetry for the CAC, not sure how yet but if you could post some poems here and we can will see what we can do. Mabey we could do at the end of each piece a little poem we could do a whole issue on your poems lets see what happens, so if you could post some poems here that would be great.
Tom
Ps you could also do some really bad ones and call it vogon poetry? Something like this mabey
There was once a man from mars
he didnt like cars
green, yellow, red
why he never said
then he died
Its complety up to you I know thats rubbish but its good rubbish if you see what I mean any way I look forward to what you come up with

Failure.
If you're not successful,
and your efforts seEm a trial,
there's an easy explanation,
maybe failure's more your style.

Hope.
Hope springs eternal in the human breast,
alas not in this one, because it is past its best.

Wisdom.
The pursuit of wisdom is vastly overrated, it is too foolishly expended on the wise, and I'm having none of it.

The peacock.
I'm a peacock who's a bit of a card,
as I strut my stuff in the yard,
in all kinds of weathers,
watch me shake my feathers,
so be careful, or I'll catch you off guard.

The vulture.
I think you're an ugly bird,
a bully and a bruiser,
I know were I a little bird,
against you I'd be a loser.

Why men wear frocks.
Hats off to men,
your bra and suspenders,
new times are coming,
blurring of genders.
There must be a reason,
that is so comples,
why men like to wear,
clothes of the female sex,
To abandon their suits,
their stylish brogues,
to put on high heel shoes,
and women's clothes.
To pile on make up,
go out in drag,
looking like the front cover,
of a woman's glossy mag.
The reason I'm told
is of men's devotion,
to get nearer to women,
and feel their emotion.
So come on then girls,
don't get all shirty,
if men want to dress,
like us, and be flirty.
So cast out your corsets,
throw away your thongs,
give men a chance,
to sing a finer kind of song.

I like the new one alot. I have a cunning plan on how to use them, at the end of each of the issues of the CAC we could have a little short poem from you, like in "open all hours" were arkright sayes his thoughts. What do you think?

The woman from Poetry Corner says yes.
Here's a poem about a rhino.
The rhino.
You can take a bull by the horns,
but let a rhino be,
you'll be treading on his corns,
try it and you'll see.

Let me know Tom would you when and where you are going to put my poetry. Thanks.
