I'm fine - still just lurking .....

My Mum had a stroke about 12 months ago and while she is doing fantastically well, I really don't have the time to spend on line that I once had.

Things change .... I notice a few changes around here too but life goes on.

But I really am fine - thanks for asking and noticing my absence.

Those are good news about your mother. My father had one in 2008, and he´s still fine. Medicins and a bit more of social activity are working very well. He´s in a residential home and that´s quite positive for all.
More for my sister who lives near him and can go on with her life. Taking care of a person is hard.

I hope that you are also taking care of yourself.

I don´t come much, actually I came back a few weeks back after a lot of time. I need to write in English, you know.
I miss many researchers that used to keep this place more colorful and lively, mainly in Ask. But... that´s what we have.

I wrote an entry about a peculiar plant, but is frozen and sinking in the PR. That disappointed me. But I´ll overcome it

I, like you, am not here much - life keeps getting in the way, but all is fine with me. I still miss my mum but that's to be expected - a friend said (and I agree) that it's a hole that never gets patched, but I'm getting used to it

It's wonderful, when I do come back, to see some familiar names holding the fort and generally not much changes but I cannot give it the attention that I once did and so keep a low profile.
