i'm trying to add some pictures to my space,but it doesn't work.
it only works when i choose the pictures which are from the picture library here.
can i upload my pictures and post them on my space?

No, 
- you can't include your own pictures - you can only use the ones already in the Guide or the Picture Library.
But you can include a link to your pictures if you like - assuming that the link doesn't break <./>HouseRules</.>
