h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Now, if memory serves me right (which it doesn't always do) I seem to remember that you've at some time said that you (just as I) check *all* the new researchers, and not only those with one asterisk.

Anyhow, if that is the case, I suspect that the two of us check two asterisks ** twice (once each) and - in order to save us both some time (since it is, after all, rather time consuming) I was thinking that we might list which ones we've checked, right here.

Do I make any sense? Despite having had my morning I feel I'm rambling a bit..

I think that's a great idea - though at the moment, to be honest I'm struggling to do my usual 10 or so a day (life sucks at the moment - don't ask ) so I'm not checking EVERY one - just what I can.

I feel really bad about it but unfortunately, that's it

That's why I've limited myself to five welcomes per day - unless I find more than five among the 2** ones - but that doesn't happen very often..

See, I start out by just checking the 2** that have joined during the last 24 hours - if I have time left after that, I'll welcome some of the 1* ones.

Yep - what I usually do is do some of the oldest unaced and then check the ** s up to the last.

I found one posted to his own space yesterday.

Arrrrgh! The new users' page is a complete mess again!

I tried finding lilliput29 to continue checking 2** from there, when I discovered that user 6588748 signed up a whole five hours *after* user 6601733.

What the is going on? The list used to show sorted by user number!

Does lilliput29 even show up on the list anymore even when I choose 'show all'? Nope!

*mutter, mutter, grumble, grumble*
