Yep, I've got the answers to both of SetupWeasel's questions on my "She's Ruined Us!" expose. I feel so eeeeevvvvil...

Yep, you guys found it. Fenchurch, I think a page explaining how to use the margins is a great idea.
The question that we will soon be confronted with is this: Once the secret is out, some members of GIRR may feel tempted to use the margins. Do we boot them out of GIRR? My feeling is that GIRR will evolve into the home for those that absolutely will not use the margin, but perhaps I could stick a special note on the page thanking those who supported GIRR initially, but now want to use the margins.
Thoughts?

Maybe you should have two lists of members- those who were holding out until the secret was exposed, and those who still refuse to for the "cause"? I know that I'm definitely still not using them until somehow people agree that there will be no more such secrets on h2g2, or a page is released by the editors or something explaining things...

Let's hold out until there's some kind of 'Interior Decoration' page set up by the names-in-italics people. I also want some advice from them on good Feng Shui for my user pages; can I add a water feature, for example.
BTW who wants a drink?
Oh SHUT UP.

Good idea. I think they should give us some tea, to, for being on here so much. Not until then will we desist. . I could use a drink...

Going to the grocery store really seems to get my wheels turning:
I think I'll set up two pages. The main page will still be GIRR - those who refuse to use the margins. Plus a link to Fenchurch's page on how to use the margin, so that we can get a little circular linking going on here. The second page will be split into 2 parts - the first reservered for those who joined GIRR prior to today but now want to use the margins, and the second for those who want to use the margins but would have joined GIRR before the secret was out, had they known about it. That way anyone can join, except for those who started this in the first place.
Then again, I wouldn't want to exclude Madmunk, since he was just keeping a promise. I would hate to have to put up a third page with only Madmunk's name on it.....
Shouldn't I have better things to do with my time?

You could buy me a 3D card. I need one of those to play "Star Wars: Episode 1 RACER" on my computer.

Fenchurch M. Mercury Posted Jul 25, 1999
Something I'm sure we all ask ourselves daily . Maybe you should add something into the disclaimer saying you admire everyone who was just keeping a promise, etc. etc...?
Oh SHUT UP.
The Ghost Of TV's Frink Posted Jul 25, 1999
er...ok, I was referring to something that would better myself, or others around me in a non-gift-giving way, but don't feel like you can't keep asking....
Fenchurch! Your link to GIRR has a U instead of a P before the number, so the link points to some poor researcher who has no idea what is happening! Poor dope.
Oh SHUT UP.
The Ghost Of TV's Frink Posted Jul 25, 1999
oops, posted before instead of after again. I'll work on the page right after I go get some exercise, in order to better myself
Oh SHUT UP.
Fenchurch M. Mercury Posted Jul 25, 1999
Ahh!!! That's the second time I've done that!!! I'm deteriorating, TVF... something's wrong with me...
Oh SHUT UP.
The Ghost Of TV's Frink Posted Jul 25, 1999
it wasn't your fault, i just took a long time between hitting the "reply" button and the "post" button. Now that I have finished bettering myself, off to revise GIRR....

As a member of GIRR, I think it should be for those who don't use referenced links and referenced researchers... but my opinion usually holds no bearing whatsoever on the flow of the rest of society. In other words... I'm just going to write some *articles* and contribute to forums instead of fiddlin' with rather useless, and confusing, hacking.
(That's a subtle hint... read my articles and give me suggestions, please. Tell your friends. And tell them to tell their friends...)
Thank you all very, very much.

I read your article on the cookies, and since you didn't have a forum down there and sometimes people don't check to see if their pages have forums and I wanted you to know I read it, I decided to post here.
The cream of Tartar is probably to make the cookie a bit moist without falling apart, much like tomatos are used in cake... I think.
The article was good... I see nothing that should be changed

For those of you who did not receive an update notice, GIRR has been revised. Share and Enjoy!
Frustreren - off to read your article now.

Fenchurch, could you make me a fish? (I am thinking of Fish Vader or Darth Fisher or whatever. As long as it has a Darth Vader mask I'm fine.)
