It is I, Leclerc
The title of this thread pulleted me in - I need a clever boy and I was worried that if I just stuck summat at the bottom of your page you might not see it for weeks....
(Be just my luck if you'd unsubscribed from this conversation. )
If you can spare the time from beavering away at Illustrator... Read On Macduff.
I'm spamming people with this in the hope that SOMEONE may see it and suggest summat afore I actually implode with frustration.

At which point I was already hopelessly lost 'cos ah divvent kna how tae mek sewer ah hev DOS access tae the CD-ROM drive...
So, in the absence of any friendly I just fiddled while Rome burned and when the Windows Setup said "Look Kiddo, this isn't an upgrade copy and you already have Windows on your system. Are you sure you want to do this?" I said "Just get on with it Mate"
I now have two lots of Windows installed on poor old Sid. (Double glazing?)
Windows #1 has all my programs, favourites, dial-up connections etc attached to it, but doesn't work.
Windows.000 is the one the pooter is running, but it isn't attached to aught.
I was wondering whether I might be able to repair the original and then uninstall the new one, or somehow get the new one to recognise all the old content and then uninstall the old one.
The old one had never actually worked properly so the second option would probably be better.
The third option is hara-kiri.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!
Any ideas?
