I also wondered about truss rods: at the end of the article you mention that one type of guitar has two truss rods instead of one, but you haven't previously mentioned truss rods at all.
Do all guitars have them, and what is the function? Are they usually wood or metal?
If they are an important part it would be nice I think to add a line or footnote exlaining what they are.

Ah yes, well there is somewhat of that discussion that I made at the end of the PR thread (after it had been selected), and then there's the truss rod bit, hadn't thought about that.
Truss rods are metal rods used to prevent a wooden neck from warping under the tension of metal strings, as such they are pretty much standard in all guitars as almost all guitars use metal strings now.
