I'll come back and read it when it doesn't hurt so much.

Well well, someone popping by...
(Quotation signs doesn´t work with the subject header in "Video is far ...", sorry about that.)
So, why does it hurt?
Seen any of Sokurovs video productions?

PS. I like your flying "Wingpig"! DS.

I have seen none of them. Withal, I had not heard of this bloke until you mentioned him. It hurts because my screen was set to 1600 by 1200 and I hadn't had much sleep the previous night. Is any of his stuff going to be at the edinburgh film festival this year? Might be inclined to pop along. You might be wanting to put all the titles into a list in the meantime.

Yes, and there's the update!
Not to bad..(?)
(I´d like to know som html one day...=0D)

On the swedish "popcorn" festival they
had four of his latest videos.

If you like something not quite ordinary,
vvvvery slooooow, emotionally STRONG
and with a "romantic ember" you should see
"Whispering Pages".

Very better. Different colours, too.
The EIFF seems keener on trying to show how up-to-date it is with US indie producers and directors rather than european and slavic stuff. How do you know so much about this bloke?

First film I saw of Sokurov was "The Stone".
I can only just rememeber fragments of the actual film. I almost immediatly fell asleep, but managed to wake up a little from time to time. During it I had dreams of seeing things in it.
The only powerful "suggestiv" film I've seen.
From then I´m stuck on it, I guess.
