Counting the days
Posted Apr 18, 2006
I am counting down the days until summer vacation. Only 14 days to go. Then blissful freedom until next fall. I can't wait, as soon as school is over I'm going camping I haven't done that in years. It's going to be so fun. It's also going to take forever because I want it to be summer so bad. Not much I can do about it except try to enjoy the company of my school friends because I won't see them over the summer. Oh well, I'll live.

Story Time
Posted Apr 13, 2006
I love coincidences. They make life a bit more interesting. Even if we only notice them because humans tend to find patterns in everything they are good for a laugh. Here is an example that happened to me recently.
A few weeks ago my sister, Rita, had a guy come to our house to fix the cd burner on her computer. It had recently stoped working. An important part of this story is to understand that my sister is kind of goth and also very nice. So after the guy fixed her computer he asked her if she belived that Jesus died for her sins. She told him no but that she was raised Lutheran. Then he asked if he could pray for her and she said yes not knowing what else to say. So the guy stood up and placed his hand on her sholder and prayed for her. She felt very awkward.
Another thing, which has nothing to do with that, which happened in that week was she got her cat fixed. So in this week these were the major things on her mind.
While going through my normal surfing I found an article on TheOnion I had to send to her. It was titled something like Have Your Cats Found Jesus. It was such a great coincidence I almost died of laughter when I found it right in the middle of what she was going through.
Has anyone else experienced things like that?

Things and stuff

I spent time with my new boyfriend and went to school. My life is finding a new groove and it is a welcome change. It will be even better in five weeks when school is out and I can spend more time with Alex.

Everything is coming up roses. I had an awesome weekend. Everything that could be good happened. Well really the only change is I have a new boyfriend. But that is always good. Especially if I need a change from life. Which I really did. Other than that nothing much happened.

stuck

I feel like I'm trapped. There's no way out. There's too much to do but no ambition to do it. Why are things so... nevermind. This is no place for a mental breakdown. I'll save it for later. Just give me a second to push my feeling down one more time. There now I'm fine. It might not be healthy but it works. That's all I need. Something that works.
