Oh, the frog thing?
Posted Aug 8, 1999
If you need an explanation for the Great Frog Question, tough. The unfortunate majority of people in fact give the answer, "I'd be a green frog." I have to sceptical about this. I mean, why does everyone have to do the obvious? I just nod sympathizingly to these people and give the sad comment, "That's what most people say..." This never fails to puzzle, infuriate and piss off the innocent. Or not so innocent...

I haven't been here for some time, as you may have noticed, but I am now in residence once again. I've just been reading Fenny's page on smileys and fish. The "I Want My Own Fish" link didn't work, so I'm pretty peeved now. They rock, don't you think? I really must find a way...

Yesterday night I went to X-stream, a youth gathering thing. It was cool and froody and very loud, with a hoopy speaker and some excellent music. I recommend anyone who lives in the Inverness area of Scotland to go along. Anyone interested?

In-service day
Posted May 4, 1999
Well, today wasn't as bad as yesterday. Not that yesterday was bad or anything, but it wasn't great. I cycled into the village for a magazine and some chewing gum (P.K, it's really yummy), and I went out on my horse in the morning. It was foggy but by lunch-time it was sunbathing weather. I sunbathed and read my magazine, which was good, then got bored and wished I could go and explore the Net. So here I am.

Look out, holiday boredom!
Posted May 3, 1999
Yeah, as I was saying, I've had a pretty good day, if boring. The thing is, with holidays you never know what to do unless you've planned something or got a car. Unfortunately I am an unsophisicated adolescent without a car or a driving license, or any knowledge of how to drive. Hmm. There are bikes, and in my case horses, but those methods of transport don't go very far and don't last that long unless you go across the country or bike round the world or something. And tomorrow I face yet another wasted holiday of boredom. Anyone got any worthwhile ideas?
