Another survivor from Monday's floods makes her bedraggled way back into H2G2.
I feel another of the secrets of the universe has been learned...if there are little rivulets of water coming under the door...DON'T OPEN IT!!!
Also, phones don't like water, and modems don't like power surges.

We had mini-tornadoes and heavy rain...most of which decided to investigate my carpet!

Sorry to hear about the flood . I hope everyone was safe. I also hope that insuracne companies across the pond (I've always wanted to use that phrase) are not the same bastards they are over here.

No fatalities reported in the floods, so good news there...
My Insurance company seems reasonable at the moment, but they haven't agreed to part with any money yet!
A mini-tornado is like the big ones, but much more shy...now you see them, now you don't!
