I will indeed be your friend Nigel,that is of course if you don't mind a friend who is clapped out and covered in mud.In case you are wondering,after work,i tackled a rough bit in the garden,no, not my next door Neighbour but a bit of ground where i have just planted some raspberries and a gooseberry bush

I am used to mud, I bring some back in the car from my allotment . My trousers are usually covered in mud, and after walking it in on the carpet I get shouted at.

I am usually so tired I just want to collapse in the chair, but I am not allowed too because of my muddy trousers . The best one is getting mud caught in between the grooves on the bottom of my walking sticks, I try to wipe it on the door mat but it does not always work!

, the door mat one is a secret .
