h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I have not been on hootoo for some time, so popped in to see if there was anyone around I still recognise.

I came across you in Scorpio's threads and went to your space. You sound my sort of person!! I am a mother of two (grown-up) daughters, and am owned by four grandchildren, a dog and a cat.... there were guinea pigs but the last ones died a year ago, and I will not get any more until the summer now - one for each grandchild, but I will keep them here as their Mums have enough to cope with, without buying for, and feeding GPs.

I love photography, but am not very good at it. One of my sons-in-law has all the gear and takes fantastic bird/animal/insect/flower shots. He also goes to airshows and takes unusual shots there as well.

I think, probably, I don't join you on the enthusiasm for fast cars, but that is because, in the past, my life has been badly affected by a speed-related incident, and that has put me off. I do drive, though.

I'll stop cluttering up your space now

Hi! nice to meet you,i am sorry i did not reply earlier,i have been a bit lax here of late,put it down to the stress of christmas and all the stuff you have to do.I think i have caught up with everything,but,there is always something else.I think i forgot the partridge,or,maybe it was the pear tree.
