The only case for atheism is simply that there is absolutely no concrete physical evidence for the existence of any deiety whatsoever. By its very nature religion is about belief in an all -powerful invisible 'spiritual' entity, I mean if everyone could see such an entity then there would be no doubt, no need for any 'faith'. If we could just stop thinking about spiritual entities we might start thinking about the state of this world, in this one life, about how to end world poverty and suffering and about how to recognise and value each individual human being, indeed every sentient life form, without confusing the issue. When everyone has enough to eat and health standards are as good for everyone as for the richest 5% in the world then perhaps it might be appropriate to consider whether invisible spiritual entities exist. Otherwise isn't just a distraction? By the way an argument for the lack of existence of any god is by it's very nature an argument against religion. What I don't understand is why you feel the need to rely on some higher power. There is no higher power than individuals cooperating.
