BBC Radio Five Live
Posted Jun 8, 2001
I've just been on the radio talking about the election and the Romsey constituency. It's such fun but very scarey!
I emailed the 5live website at home then within about 2 minuits I got a phone call asking wether I could go on air! So I aggreed and started to shake a bit, then they rang me back and I was listenig to the radio through my phone. Said my little bit about students and that was it. Oh how fun is this world?! :¬)

So my first year is complete (bar any possibe resits) and i only have another 3 to go. My time in halls is also drawing to a close, it's been such fun.
But it does mean that I've now got 2 weeks here free from work. Lets PARTY!

Douglas Adams 1952 - 2001
Posted May 15, 2001
Douglas Adams, the author of the many vertions of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, as well as the creator of this site, died on the 11th May 2001, from a heart attack in Santa Barbara, California.
This is so sad, especailly as we were looking forward to his new creation, the HHGTTG film. Everyone who knew him or read any of his books will miss him greatly. I was lucky to have emailed him and been in a web chat with him, but I cannot begin to imagine the loss of his wife and daughter. My prayers are with you.
So long Douglas, and thanks.

Radio
Posted May 8, 2001
I'm going to be on the radio!! It's only the Universities radio station, Surge, but it's a start. Though I don't have ambitions top be a radio presenter it's going to be fun.
You can catch my classical music program on saturday morning in the the Glen Eyre campus of the university.
