Well if there are 89000 registered researchers, there must be about 1000 without mobiles surely?

I mean, mobiles are much less common in some places of world than others - britain has higher percentage than a lot of the west I think, then I guess Japan has like, masses of them....

All in all, there ougth to be some support out there for our cause..

i don't have a mobile phone, but i've observed this:
when you don't have one, you don't need one, but when you get one, they become the most indispensable thing...

isn't that just the case, a couple of my frinds have just got them and said that.

I have a report leaflett that I picked up at the doctors that says we should eb limmiting out use of them and that, though most regulations require non water frequency microwavesm, they actually do cause heating and memory loss. Sadly I've been saying this for donkeys years and everone with one say that they don't believe it.

Also i herad a figure for the UK that it's about half and half on the phone front. But there becomming a disposable item , which is really bacd fr the environment.
