Hello From Next Door
Bluebottle Posted Apr 27, 2001
It's a weird feeling - although you get used to it. I met Shazz on Tuesday, she was popping through Southampton on her way to visit her daughter, and I once met up with Amy the Ant in Leeds when I went up to visit my girlfriend, but was working until 2 hours after my train arrived, so I arranged to meet her and go for lunch. I've also been to 3 meet-ups.
I've never had someone sitting beside me say "Boo! Are you Bluebottle?" before.
I'm doing History at the moment, but alas, I'm currently getting into a bit of a financial mess. I had done 2 years of law, but although I enjoyed Criminal Law, I just could not understand Property at all. How about you?

Yes, Postal Shazz - I've met her a few times through the H2G2 Meet-Ups - when the next one's announced I'll let you know. Oh, and as you asked, this is the address for the Classic Goo Fan Club:

Thanks for the tea on Friday, it's cool to meet another h2g2er.
And I'd love to go to one of the meet ups.
Are you a member of ZZ9 as well?

Thanks for the info!
I'm looking forward to the Mysterious Location - should be a lot of fun
Think you'll come along to it? July shouldn't be too bad - all my exams will be over, thank goodness.
And yes, I am a ZZ9er - although my subscription just run out and I'm considering whether to re-apply.

Ah.. I must see what it looks like.
I was thinking of the set of characters, or perhaps the mug mats, but I'm not sure if I'd ever use them or need them...

You better!
And I think my slot is on Saturday morning. Though it possibly won't be broadcast to a Highfield.

I'm not sure if I've got the right equipment to receive much, but there's never any harm in trying...
I wonder if Peregrin's awake today? He exists - honest! And you'll have to meet him sometime.

I have a dream, that one day the president will stand, and face his people and say:
"I have a dream that......"

Wish I could do that. I hate sleeping, so boaring. Sleep just removes time to be on h2g2
