I LOVE THIS HTML STUFF!

Forget everything else I've said - I love this stuff now. I've been fiddling around with my page all day - GREAT FUN!!
I've got to find out more .... must find books .... tutorials .... courses ..... gotta go!

GuideML - and stuff like that

Well, I've sorted out my home page so far - pictures are the next challenge. Now I'm having trouble with using GuideML with Guide Entries, I think I may have broken h2g2 'cos I keep getting blank pages. I've asked that nice Jim Lynn for help.

REJECTED AND DEJECTED :-(

Well, I'm fed up. I'm disappointed but I'm not beaten yet. I've had two submissions rejected in one week - they know how to kick you when you're down.
I expected the first one to be rejected (What not to ask a droid,I submitted that before I read the original guidelines and it was a bit spaced-out. But now they've moved the goal posts and are not going to accept anything that " .... exists purely to be amusing." - killjoys!
With this remit I think all my other entries will be rejected shortly. Things do not look good.
They are asking for entries that are more useful but at the same time maintaining the irreverant style of the original Hitch Hikers Guide. But then in the Guidelines section they are telling us that 90% of people who think they are funny simply aren't. People are going to get complexes here - they will be loathe to submit anything to the guide in case they are labelled "UNFUNNY" and become literary outcasts!
SO .... the guidelines are basically this:
1 No fiction
2 No duplication
3 No unfunny humour
4 No one-line jokes
Funny, I thought this was supposed to be the Hitch Hikers Guide?

Well, as you can see, I`ve tried to update my page - WHAT A MESS!!
I've cut and pasted, copied and edited but I can't make the links work. I'm fed up now and I'm going to hang out my washing.

HELLO EVERYONE, I'M BACK. DID YOU MISS ME? 'COURSE YOU DIDN'T!
IN CASE YOU WANTED TO KNOW (WHICH YOU PROBABLY DIDN'T) OUR INTERNET CONNECTION WAS FEELING A BIT DOWN AND WOULDN'T LET ME ON THE NET FOR THE PAST MONTH OR SO. WELL, IT'S FEELING MUCH BETTER NOW, SO HERE I AM!
