Pre-moderation Birthday
Posted Oct 1, 2004
One year ago yesterday (so I missed the day... it's kind of traditional here, isn't it?) I was put on pre-moderation. And above this text box, it tells me:
"Please note: Your Postings are being pre-moderated and will only appear after they have been approved by a Moderator."
So that's one year and one day of premod. My understanding of the premod feature is to allow the editors to stop someone breaking the rules while they either learn the error of their ways, or are banned. I can't see why either of those things should take over a year...
I think the story behind me being put on premod, and the various events leading up to it, is known to everyone that cares - and many that don't, no doubt, so I won't go into it here. Let it just be known that I stand by everything I said at the time, and if I could relive it I would do it pretty much exactly the same (although I might try and remember what name I'm using... ).
For my birthday presents, I would like to be taken off premod - it's getting silly, and also be given access to the CA archives - just for the sake of it really, i've moved on, and am not going to try and reform h2g2. I'd also kind of like to see what was said on there about me - might make an interesting read.
Enough talking - this is a birthday, so let's party, everyone is invited. My girlfriend said she might drop by, and I promised there would be cake, so:

As i said in my last journal i am sending my computer off to be fixed and upgraded, so i will not be able to log on for a few days, starting tomorrow (i may pop in tomorrow morning before i pack everything up). I may be able to log in from other computers occasionally, but i don't know. If not, i will see you all in a few days. I'll post again here before i actually go.

My GCSE Results!
Posted Aug 21, 2003
Science (Dual) - A*, A* (completed in 2002 - 1 year early)
Maths - A*
Electronics - A
English - B
English Lit. - B
History - B
Religious Studies - B
German - B
AS Science (combined) - C (done in the 2nd year after finishing the GCSE early)
(NB: the C is AS Science is because i didn't do any work due to it not counting as anything, because the colleges don't do the A2 for it, and once you do any other science at A-level, you can't count it for UCAS points. )
