What do you want to do with them?

The basic format for a table is:


1st column, 1st row2nd column, 1st row
1st column, 2nd row2nd column, 2nd row


Basically, all that means:

- this is the beginning of a table (that's the easy bit )
- this is the beginning of a row in the table (ended by </TR&gt, you can have as many rows as you like, by just putting multiple pairs of TR tags
- This stands for Table Data, and it starts ( finishes) each cell in the table, with the contents inbetween the opening and closing tags. You put the TD tags inside the pair for the row you want the cell in.
- this just ends the table

Soz tango was having a wander!!well basically i dont know what i want just wanna tidy me space up n i like the bright colour colmns u can get ...these r tables aint they ??soz not too good on a computer ...got ne suggestions what i should do??? by the way hows school???doing well i hope

Right, tables... Yes, the different background colours are done with tables. To do that you would do this:


This is on a Classic Goo coloured background!


At least, i think that's right. If it doesn't work, let me know, and i'll check it. I'm not sure about the colour code either... it's definitly got lots of 6's in it... it's probably best to use words such as BGCOLOR="blue".

I think the best thing for you to do is look around different people's personal spaces, and if you find something that looks interesting, change the U in the URL to testuserpage. For example, my PS is U32077 so to see how something is done you would go to <./>testuserpage32077</.>.
