I've been doing some evesdropping, so to speak, on your conversations with the other local researcher. That is the whole point of this, right? Some sort of global party line? Anyway, my question is, what's a "badger" in Scotland? Over here it's a short, foul tempered mammal often chosen as the mascot for high school football teams. American football of course. I apologise if the question is naive or unsophisticated. I've never been to Scotland. My only trip outside the U.S. so far was 3 weeks on sheep stations in the land of Kiwis.
