Funny that you called yourself the "vogon" poet, because I never really thought their poetry was bad, to me it was a cacophony of song. Hello Ramya. It's good to meet you here.

I'm a poet, and I like writing both rhyming and free verse. The last poem I put on h2g2 is 'The Tale of the Kenyan Runner' - A87729196, which is a ballad of sorts.

I think the joke about the Vogon poetry is that it does have a certain musicality - but it's not supposed to be the worst poetry in the universe, only the third worst!

I'd like to see more poetry on this site - I think it gets neglected. If you put poetry in the Alternative Writing Workshop, I would be glad to comment on it (though I'm going to France for a fortnight - back 29th July.)
