They Promoted Me!
Posted Nov 11, 2002
My institution has just given me a small promotion and a large increase in my workload... ARGH! Fortunately they have also given me a full-time assistant at last. We have about 12 months of work ahead of us so no chance of being bored!
To make up for the additional work, I now get to call myself "Systems Manager (Web Technology)". Wooppie!!

Another to Peer Review!
Posted Aug 22, 2002
I have decided to split my entry on Capercaillie into two parts. The band info is now in A809769. I'm still looking for album reviews for this entry, so let me know if you find any...
A611010 - "Capercaillie - The Bird" has just gone into Peer Review. Pop along to F48874?thread=204053 and let me know what you think.

To Brunel or not to Brunel!
Posted Aug 21, 2002
... that is the question! I have decided after four days of playing and three weeks of testing that I am going to adopt Brunel as my full-time H2G2 skin. I love the ability to customise the page colour, and will probably change it to reflect my moods.
I also love the new smileys! <!> and Amy's are the best of the new bunch!

A Change of Heart.
Posted Aug 21, 2002
I have decided that I am no longer going to unsubscribe from conversations to which I have just added a passing comment... Some of them have developed into such wonderful discussions that I feel that I have been missing out!
The only exception to this rule is where the conversation is aimed at us Gurus. Once I feel the original question posed has been answered satisfactorily, I will unsubscribe so that my conversations tray doesn't get too cluttered with junk (just like my desk in my office).

I'm not one of those people who like to write journal entries. Not alot of stuff happens to me, so my intention is to leave this space blank for a while.
