Useless Fact for Today:
Unless it's a greenstick fracture, you won't make a full recovery from a Colles fracture, the nature of which changes the articulation of the joint.
Who might we know who's about half a century, plus or minus mumble mumble, removed from the Greenstick Zone?

Forgot to say that I have been given a toy, 2oz of the bright green stuff:

The idea is that I work with it while I'm watching television. Ever the good patient, I was about to watch some prescription television when the phone rang ... so I've been talking to coz in Cork instead.
I regaled her with last nights' attempts to learn what is essentially a simple line dance routine whilst clicking your fingers between each step ... no questions of singing until this has been mastered. It was chaos, it was hilarious, we all fell about laughing, and that includes those few who could do it
Altogether now: right forward, left forward, right back, left back, left forward, right forward, left back, right back, right forward, left forward, right back, left back, left forward ... and now we'll try it standing up
You seem to have disappeared without trace, so ...
G'nite!

Look, you've improved on last week, and Imnexdor has not ... no matter how :-| you might feel, he's nearer to ;-( than you right now

Commiserations!
Aww, munchkin, you're allowed to grutter all you want tonight ... but on the understanding that you'll be working on the Revenge of the Grutterer post-namp tomorrow. Seems a shame not to harness all that suppressed wotsit and use it to good effect, eh?

Now dealing with another of life's little emergencies, because the gas supply to the London block has been disconnected due to an external gas leak. Two weeks of no gas in 13 flats (the communal heating is on, electric kettles have been provided), and tenant now has no doubts that if she wants to stay in a hotel for access to hot water, the landlord won't be paying for it.
Grutter ...
G'nite!

Duvet day today, once I complete the chores associated with the current Life's Little Emergency.
I predict a hyper-rant at the telly. The Spending Review will probably have a positive influence on the energy and effort I'll apply to the hapless putty
How's the grutter this morning ... might this help (it's a bit early to start on the chocolate innit) ?

I'm not happy. I've just noticed that the second of three important (and expensive) dvds is missing and have spent a fruitless hour searching.

That is seriously unfunny, and only you might be able to work out the how, why and when of all this
You say you've 'noticed' that the middle one is missing. Does this mean that it's not just the dvd, but the packaging as well, which is conspicuous by its' absence? Have you also checked that the cases of the first and third dvds in the set are still in your safekeeping?
You'll have to take this further, I realise (hence the how, why, when mebbes that need to be considered before you start asking 'Does ...?' or 'Has ... ?').
Not much help or consolation but, if you email the details, I'm more than willing to rummage around and see what's available at my known online haunts ... you never know blah de blah blah grutter blah

Yeh, I know but sometimes desperate remedies ...
Might you be able to potentially identify the likely culprit(s) and ask for it back so that you can let them have a copy of either it or the set? And do you think it's still in the house?
How very frustrating. And a lot of other words too.
