Maybe no-one will notice if I sneak in through this back door here ... if that AK47's locked and loaded, it doesn't seem to be pointed in this direction (yet) ...

More tea?
No, I know that ... mind you, despite it being an um stock phrase (forgive pun, coincidental) and sounding correct because it is rhythmical and alliterative, why is it 'locked and loaded' rather than 'loaded and (then) locked (ready for firing)'?
Got the k d lang. For someone who doesn't do lyrics, methinks you do have a weakness for those that sneak in under the radar ... thank you, anyway, it gave the glums an exquisite silver tinge ;-|

Good, we all need a bit of that with the weather as it is.
I don't know about 'lock and load', maybe I should ask The Major

Cheers!
Shouldn't be a problem for an adversary of your calibre: don your pith helmet and take the AK47 with you ... sorted.
Local pub of my yoof had a character landlord who rang last orders and put on his pith helmet to which a little flag had been added, which read 'pith on!' ... when the bar closed, the little flag was switched to read 'now pith off'.

If I were a landlord then maybe I'd do something like that. Mind you, that's a bit like actual work isn't it?
'Tis the battle with clearbury where the fight is to be had.
Jank has thrown in the towel and Hieru has agreed to disagree really.

Yer smart landlord opens up the evening session and then lets the staff get on with it. Then reappears half an hour before closing time to select who might qualify for the lock-in (or not, as the case may be). Rest of the time is spent fiddling (with) the books afaik, whilst the landlady gets stuck in with the work ... 'of course I'll change that barrel but I must get this paperwork done, dere'.
'Course that was then and this is now and times change ...
Haven't followed that thread at all recently but did notice the reappearance of clearbury and thought we'd come full circle because he'd disappeared for a long time and maybe forever.
Thinking of 'maybe', did 'perhaps' warrant reworking?

Not talking sense(s), apparently ... no, I was talking about one of your tunes about whose potential you expressed some doubt but which I liked; and the mp3 file was called 'perhaps'.

Sorry about the chess ... I don't over-exert myself with clever stuff and shut up about the abject failures
If it's that forgettable, I don't hold much hope for it. You obviously had your doubts about it before, and those doubts seem to have be forgotten when it mentally got erased.
