It's crossed my mind before to do something for the guide on hurling, so I'd be happy to lend a hand with it if I can. Oh! You're quick off the mark - I've just searched for 'hurling' and seen you've quite a good one done since yesterday - ah well! 
Still though, it leaves the other thing I'd thought about before, the history of the GAA. (I need to stop getting ideas to be honest. On my hard drive I've a whole lot of entries in various states of undress. I'm getting too spread out now!)

Thanks KB - to be honest this section was in the edited guide already but in an entry on "Unusual Sports", which did it a complete disservice. Anything you can add will be most welcome. I won't concentrate in any way on the GAA itself (I'm still fuming about their former attitude to "foreign games"), but I'd be happy to get extra help with my article!
