Hi there Woodpigeon. Don't think I'll make it to Cork but who knows?
I would have said "sí gaoith" was pronounced "shee gwee"; and I think saoi means "sage" as in wise man, as distinct from sí, a fairy.
Or else was Máire MacEntee's mother away with the fairies?

Hi R,
Yes, you are right - I had misgivings about the spelling just after I wrote it. It's "Sí".
Hopefully you can make it down to the Southern Capital - It promises to be a good day.
