Charity in South America
Dea.. - call me Mrs B! Started conversation Nov 4, 2008
Hi Woodpidgeon,
Please forgive me if I've got the wrong person but I believe you spoke recently about a charity in South America that you supported and provided a link for them? If it was you, I was impressed by the website and the philosophy behind it but can't find the conversation or the link about it.
Another internet group that I belong to are looking for a charity to support for the year and though they have a few to choose from, most are of big 'corporations' like Unicef or Oxfam and I remember thinking that the one you posted about was more personal and less administrative so more help went to those in need.
I hope it was you who posted about it and if you could give me that link to the site again, then I would like to put them forward for this years support. It's not a lot of money, just a few folks who actually care, but every little helps!

Why can't I spell pigeon? Why does the whole world need that extra 'd'? It must be one of the most popular spelling mistakes in the world, yet I fall for it every time - no doubt you have had all the variations!

Hi Deakie,
Yes, I've seen all the variations! Something about Pidgin English I think..
I did walk in a charity walk some time back, but it was a local Irish charity - I think it is mycharity.ie. Not sure about who did the South American charity.
If this is of any use, that's great, but it might be too local in your case. I found it to be a superb website though.
Cheers,
W
