Hi there PC - yes - keeping well. Things have settled down for the moment, I've been concentrating on finishing my Masters and I'm currently interviewing people on what they do in their companies.

The weather here is gorgeous! We've had 3 weeks of sun, sun and more sun now. Sunburn in April - almost impossible to believe.

I spent some time up the mountains yesterday, just on my own - I'll send out some photos on my blog tomorrow, I think. It was beautiful.

Yes - I'm out to Toronto on May 11. My son is getting really excited. I hope now he get's his passport in time. Darn, but the paperwork involved is tortuous..

Don't know when I'll be going back to Chicago. Not sure if it's even on the cards now. Will let you know if something comes up though.

Aha! I'd remembered correctly, then. I can relate to the passport obtainign experience... the bureaucratic nonsense involved seems fairly universal. I hope it comes in time!!

While it would be a bummer not to see you in Chicago again, I really did enjoy the occasions on which we did meet up, especially the time we went to the Field Museum. I really enjoyed that.

I'm glad to hear that you're making some progress on your Master's and also that you've been having such nice weather. And that things have settled down.

Things here are pretty good, too. We've had some major restructuring at the company- not downsizing, or anything, just moving people around, and a couple of staff changes that may or may not effect me directly. We shall see. But work is OK overall, K's been quite busy with band stuff, and I've done some fun things recently.

I think it's really important to be happy at work. There are a few things on the cards at the moment that may hopefully give me that same opportunity soon - I'll say no more.

I've been busy with Toastmasters recently and getting a good bit of exercise in too.

Only 3 weeks to go (or so) to Toronto. To say I can't wait is a serious understatement!
