Hi Woodpigeon
Did you watch the match? Mixed emotions, Ireland played superbly well, but were unlucky not to win. You're through though, right? Scotland just barely scraped through against Fiji . If it wasn't for Tom Smith and Chris Paterson, we'd be out and totally humiliated . Phew! is all I can say.
By the by, I used one of the links on your page to do with solar weather. What a site! I ended up at both the NASA and ESA sites too. The footage they have of the sun at present is incredible! I haven't seen much to do with astronomy since I was a kid, , but this has really got me going again thanks to you Woodpigeon. The Scottish news has been showing pictures of the auroras too. Fabulous! Maybe I'll be lucky enough to see them in the flesh, so to speak, sometime.
How did your wee one get on with guising last night?

Hi Prideth,
Yes, it was a good performance, and we are kicking ourselves here that we might even have been able to beat them, had it not been for a few tactical mistakes. I didn't see much of the game because I was trying to get a sleep in. "Trying" being the operative word, given that my two kids were screaming in my ears and jumping up and down on the bed!
My eldest lad didn't go out - the weather wasn't great so we kept him in this year. He still got lots of chocs and sweeties so he wasn't complaining.
Glad you enjoyed the website - if only for that I would have missed the Oct 30 display completely!
