I am your sub-editor for A1075619 'Tom Crean - Antarctic Hero'. I apologise for the delay, but I have now reviewed and edited your entry.

Congratulations on the quality of your English... we need more people like you to make our jobs easier.

If you like, you can read through my work and let me know beforehand whether you want anything changing before I send it to the Italics. (I think it's unlikely, as I hardly had to change anything!)

Just a couple of things to bear in mind for future entries.

<./>SubEditors-Style</.> outlines that dates should be of the form "13 July, 2003". If you are going to write any more historical entries, it would be worth remembering this.

The last section "A Place in History" was copied from Microsoft Word, or a similar application, as it contained "Microsoft Smartquotes" instead of the usual ' and " symbols. Remember that if you do write some things in Word, these quotes need converting back to their universal equivalents.

All in all, very good indeed, and an enjoyable read. I look forward to your response and to seeing it in the EG!
