And all through Loon's house it looked like a building site. 
Have been waiting since summer to get daughter's bedroom re-plastered and a roof leak repaired. Workmen finally arrived yesterday, stripped the offending wall, removed coving and part of the ceiling then went on the roof for another look. More damage than on first inspection 
Fingers crossed it will all be fixed by the end of the week weather willing. Fortunately it's the school hols and #2 can stay with her sister 
Still, it's rather a mess on top of the festive activities...

I'm in charge of a community of people with and without disabilities who live together so I'll be gathering with all the people who cannot get home to families for Christmas and we'll all eat, drink and be merry together in one of our houses. It should be good fun.
