Hello! (again?)

I just got a page cannot be displayed (DNS) error; quite common on this old modem system, so I'm resending this just in case needed!

Thanks!

------------------------------------------------------------
Right, a confused Ace and guru would like to be placed back on the lists with my new e-mail address please!! I Found out that I had not been getting any mail as my mails were all directed to my webTV address, which I no longer have access to, so I'm asking my address to be ammended on the list!

it's

[email protected]
Thanks!

After all, why should a h2g2 volunteer be the last to know about the much needed

Hi aka.

You can change your Ace and Guru emails by visiting the Yahoo site and changing them there. If you have problems, let us know, but it's much easier for you to change it than us!

Hope it goes smoothly... smiley - smiley

Ahh, I know, but I can't seem to remember the name and password I used for that group, as I used only e-mail, and actually I'm now confused!

So yes, I'm having problems, If you can remove [email protected] or whatever address I used on WebTV, then add [email protected] I'd be very grateful, thanks!

Sorry, we can't change Yahoo members' details, for obvious reasons! If you want to create a completely new Yahoo account with your new email address, then we can subscribe that one to the two groups and remove the old one... but we can't change your details, as they're not our servers!

The best thing to do would be to set up your new accounts and then use the Yahoo site to ask to join both the groups. This will email us automatically and we can simply click on 'Confirm' to let you in.

Hope this makes sense - and this time don't forget your login details! smiley - smiley

That makes sense... smiley - doh why did i not think of that before? Thing is though, that I've asked to join the group under the Y! ID, "therealslimaka", minus the inverted commas, of course smiley - smiley

But still no reply to the request.. I'm still pending..

By the way, any chance of adding some h2g2 related Win95/98/NT/me (animated) cursors? I@ve just discovered them and pretty happy with them! smiley - winkeye

Weird - we haven't got anyone listed as pending on either the Ace or the Guru group. Odd!

We can, however, invite you using the relevant email address, so can you confirm that the email you have set up with your new Yahoo account is [email protected]? If so, we'll get an invitation sent out to you.

What a palaver! smiley - erm
