Yet again I ripped my brain out, whacked it with a hammer and put it back.
Yet again I've got a story, and I'm gonna trust you guys to help me out!

Creative criticism more then welcome!

Title: Don't Forget Me

Chapter One:
Faith smiled at her friends. They smiled back and mimed using a phone before walking off. She got out her red and black umbrella and opened it to cover herself from the freezing rain.

It was the end of school, start of the summer holidays. So God knows where this rain came from. Faith’s jewel blue eyes searched the area for Sky. She wouldn’t see him all holidays because he was going home, to America, instead of staying in England with her. She spotted his black and blond hair and ran over to the shelter where she brought her umbrella down.
“There’s no way your leaving without saying goodbye.” Faith smiled at him.
“I wasn’t planning too. I’m gonna miss you. I just have to go and see my parents now so I can spend Christmas with you.” There was a hint of sadness in his eyes, identical to Faith’s. She quickly pulled a photo out of her bag.
“Just don’t forget me.” She handed it to him and hugged him. Sky smiled and hugged her back before swiftly planting a gentle peck on her cheek. With that he turned and got into his dads car.

The house was quiet without the blast of Sky’s music. Faith closed her bedroom door and curled up on the bed with her sketchpad and a pencil, but she felt empty. Sky left at least once a year normally, but this would be the longest and her brain was still going over the fact that he had kissed her. It wasn’t much but it was still something.

A week into the holidays and Faith was in town. She wasn’t alone though. She was accompanied by 4 other teenagers. All five of them about fourteen. Faith’s dark brown hair was tied back in a gentle ponytail. Her eyes shown up by excessive use of eyeliner and her face pale. She laughed at the other girl and punched her playfully in the shoulder. A little to hard.
“Oh God Abbi, sorry! I’m so sorry.” Faith cringed looking positively tearful. She hooked the white hood, that was protruding from a black short sleeved t-shirt, over her head. Sticking her hands in the back pockets of her black skinny jeans she scuffed her (also black but with pink laces) converse on the pavement as they headed into the nearest shop.
“It’s fine honestly Faith, you shouldn’t be so worried.” Abbi replied blinking her brown eyes, decorated just like Faiths and just like the three boys of the group. However Abbi was wearing a blue t-shirt with white polka dots and a pair of white skinny jeans. Complete with white converses. She flicked a piece of long light brown hair out of her face and then found her hand entwined with the tallest boys.
“God why don’t you two just get married or something!” One of the other boys laughed as the couple moved closer to each other. “Hey Faith heard anything from Sky lately?” He asked turning to Faith as her face immediately changed to something like uncertainty.
“Not much, he’s alright just bored. Why’d you wanna know Snakey?” She teased him jokingly.
“My name is Chris. Get it right.” He laughed and his lip rings (Snake Bites) caught the sunlight. His green eyes matched his black and green stripy top perfectly and his skinny jeans matched everyones but Abbi.
“Ooooh your Snakey know. You *must* have said *something*,” The boy holding hands with Abbi smiled before turning to the other boy. “Whassup Danny? You’re way to quiet today.” Danny looked round and smiled.
“I have no idea Aiden. Just thinking about stuff.” Danny was the shortest of the group. His grey eyes glinted in the sun. Faith looked around and squealed happily.
“Abbi!! I found them!!” She sqeauked excitedly and Abbi ran over to see what Faith had found.

Belts. Black and white studded. Normal studded. Black. White studded. Thousands. For ten minutes the two girls ran round trying them all on, to the boys amusement until the girls chose belts for them. Abbi pulled out some money.
“My treat!!” She giggled and payed before handing them all out to each person. Abbi put hers on, white with blue studs, Chris had a black belt with white studs, Aiden a black one with silver studs and blood stains. Danny had white belt with black studs and Faith had a white one with black and white chequerd studs.
“Thanks so much Abbi! I owe ya one,” Faith hugged Abbi and Aiden pecked her on the lips. Faith pulled an mp3 out of her pocket. “Where next?”

[[Blimey that was a long one!! Thanks for reading.]]

CHAPTER 2

Faith woke to the sound of an alarm. “What the f-“ She muttered slamming her hand down on it and crawling out of bed. Picking up her mobile she checked her messages. Three, one from Sky, one from Abbi and one from Aiden. She opened Aidens text first.
Hey Faye!
Are u ok? 2day u seemed kinda upset bout Sky.
I’m worried. Txt me back.
Aid xx
Faith smiled sadly and composed a reply text asking him to ring for her. She’d explain in person. Then she went to Abbi’s.
Faye! How r u? Aid says something is rong. But u seemed fine to me 2day. Txt back. Abbi. x
Faith didn’t smile this time. Abbi was her best friend but sometimes she didn’t notice when something was wrong. And here was a prime example. She didn’t text back because she just needed to speak to Aiden.

She looked down at Sky’s name on her messages list. Biting her lip she deleted it. She knew what it said, it would be the same as every other one from him. If he was so happy with his new girlfriend then why didn’t he leave her alone and stay in America?

*

It was around two when there was a knock at the door. Faith was still in her bedroom although she had got dressed. She heard Aiden’s footsteps as he made his way to her room. She looked up when the door opened and smiled weakly at Aiden. He looked worried and hurried over. He was like a big brother to Faith but she wasn’t sure what he would think of her now.
“What’s wrong Faye. I know somethings up. You didn’t come to meet us today.” Aiden sat down next to her and locked eyes with her.
“It’s Sky,” Faith started and a tear leaked out of one eye. “He’s coming home early. His parent’s are going away with work and he has to come home early. He’s bringing his girlfriend.” She put a lot of emphasis on the word girlfriend. Aiden looked at her. She had told him that she fancied Sky and that Sky had kissed her. Now he was bringing a girl home. Faith turned away and sniffed. Her eyeliner and mascara running down her face, mingled with salty tears. Aiden got up. “When’s Sky coming home?” His voice was strong and decided.
“Tonight, he emailed me a couple of days ago. His flight’s coming on around seven,” Faith replied turning around. “Why?” Aiden turned around. “I wanna meet him there. You stay home tonight, me and Abbi will drop him off.” Then he left. As soon as the door closed Faith whispered, “No. He wouldn’t.” But she know full well he would. And she hated that.

[[YAY!! I MADE IT!! Might have chapter three up soon as well!!]]]

CHAPTER: THREE

Chapter III
Aiden looked around the airport. It wasn’t long before he had seen Sky. And Sky’s companion. Aiden felt his blood rush with anger. It was clear to see why guys went for her, perfect body, short tight denim skirt with a white strappy top, that showed just a bit to much. Blonde hair and green eyes. She smiled sweetly at Aiden and Sky put an arm around her waist. Aiden fixed a smile in place and waved to Sky who smiled back. “Hey Sky, who’s this?” Aiden’s voice came out cheerful and relativly natural.
“Oh this is Maddy. I met her in America a couple of years ago, and we started going out last week.” Sky smiled and pecked her on the lips. Just then Abbi appeared beside Aiden and whispered something in his ear. A few feet away stood a shocked Faith. This wasn’t the Faith everyone knew. Had it not been her eyes, Sky would never have recognised her. Her once long brown hair had been cut short and dyed black. Instead of a top and skinny jeans she wore a decent length black skirt with knee high black socks, a shirt and a black tie.

After a few seconds Faith realised something. To Sky she wasn’t nothing. She was less than nothing. She turned then unable to face the scene and walked before breaking into a run. She heard Aiden call her name but nothing could stop her now.

Aiden watched as Faith ran, she wouldn’t respond to anything now. Turning back to Sky he narrowed his eyes.
“Remember how sensetive Faith is? Well, you made her get her hopes up and you know it. To go off with some…some… slag!” He spat the words, directed at Sky not at Maddy. Before he could stop himself he swung his fist clean into Sky’s face. That would leave a black eye.

It was Sky’s turn to narrow his eyes. “It’s not my fault! I can’t help it if everything that ever makes me happy upsets her!” Sky shouted back. People were starting to stare but this didn’t matter to the two teens. Sky knocked the winded Aiden swiftly with a punch to the stomach. The next thing fists flew into faces and girls screamed as both boys sustained injuries that bled a great deal. Finnally Abbi shoved the two apart. She was the smallest but both boys knew that she would attack vicously if they didn’t stop.

“Go on, run home to Faith’s house. She’ll still let you stay there. But don’t think that means you can ever, ever,” He repeated the word forcefully. “Ever make for this.” Aiden turned and walked off quickly followed by Abbi. He made to put his arm around her but she darted irritably away.
Sky followed the path Faith had taken without a word. Stopping at the public toilets to clean his cuts.
*

Faith hadn’t spoken to Sky for a week. She knew she probably never would be able to. He texted her constantly but she deleted them. It was one night when Faith was getting ready to go for one of her now frequent night time walks, to visit all of the places her and Sky had, that there was a gentle knock on her door. She didn’t even turn. Not when Sky entered, hair a mess, make up gone, and looking exhausted. It was obvious he hadn’t slept for days. He wordlessly watched as she pulled on her converse. Just before she reached the door he put his arm in fron of her.

Sighing she turned her cold, dead eyes on him. The sight alone was enough to break any mans heart. “You’re in my room because?” She said her voice monotone and cold. His face regestured shock at her tone and she used that moment to push past his arm and leave.

The stars glittered above her, it was a cloudless night with a full moon. Faith rememberd the time her and Sky had sat in a tree on halloween telling each other stories where werewolves ripped people to pieces. The trees where she and Sky had shared their deepest darkest secrets at three in the morning. Everything was linked with Sky. But everytime she thought of Sky she thought of Maddy.

[[Well wasn't that fun! Probably gonna work on the fight, not happy with that. Oh and all credit for 'Maddy' goes to one of my best friends Maddy for being so gosh darn inspiring!(Plus she needs a boyfriend.)]]
Maddy was still living with them, Faith had been relativly poilte to her. Faith’s current version of polite was noticing their existance. Maddy seemed unpertubed by this and continued being bubbly and constantly flirting with Sky. Not only that but everyone could see she would just use Sky and then go off with someone. Everyone being Aiden, Chris, Danny and Abbi. They were the best friends Faith had ever had, Sky had been one until a certain girl had become his new girlfriend. She probably didn’t know, but that didn’t make Faith feel any better.

Chapter: Four

Faith grimaced as she watched Maddy make arrangements to stay in England. It was a matter of days until school started again.Year 10 had seemed a long way off in year seven. Then again, so had turning fourteen.

Maddy hung up and smiled at Faith.. “This is going to be great!” God, she sounds like one of those cheerleaders boys always fancied. Forcing a smile through she asked where Maddy was going to be staying. “Oh, in this house down the road. Mom’s renting it, till I wanna go home.” Maddy replied, bouncing around just like her strong American accent.
“Yay!” Faith said, genuinely happy. Maddy wasn’t going to be staying with them!
Just then the phone rang. Faith’s hand darted out and answered it. “Eh, Yellow?” She answered as she always did.
“Er, can I come over?” It was obviously Aiden, but he sounded upset.
“Sure, be here in five minutes.” She hung up shrugging at Maddy.
“Better go pack!” Maddy smiled and leapt up the stairs. Looking in the mirror above the phone, Faith noticed lots of things were missing; her hair wasn’t styled, her trademark make up was missing, and her smile was gone. Not that it was there much these days.

Ten minutes later and Aiden knocked on Faith’s door. As soon as he entered it was clear he had been crying. Taking one look and him, Faith got up and embraced him. He hugged weakly back. Faith let go and held the older boy at arms length. “Sit.” She commanded gesturing to her bed, often used as a therapy sofa.

She joined him on the bed and looked at him. “What's wr-“ She began to ask but never finished the sentence because Aiden had leant in and pressed his lips against hers. Faith’s eyes widened in shock, paralysing her. When Aiden broke apart from her she simply stared. Aiden’s face went from confused to emotionless. Turning he left, before Faith could even comprehend what had just happened.

Chapter V

For once Faith was walking to school alone. Her school uniform had been redone this year just like usual. Her black skirt had a red chain sewn into it, her white shirt was covered with band badges, as was her black blazer. And the school tie had been replaced with a formal black silky tie. Her messenger bag bore the word ‘Psh yeah’ in blue lettering on a black background. Her red bow was replaced with a white one, and her face was paler then usual.

“Hey, Scenie! What’s with the hair. You look like you’ve been attacked with a hairbrush!” Came Tigerlily’s voice. She was of course referring to the back of her hair which was gently messy.
“I was. I attacked myself. It’s fun, you should try it someday.” Faith called back. Smiling. Some things never change.
Tigerlily was one of the most liked girls in the school. Slightly Gothic, she was tall and beautiful. Even Faith admitted it. Her short almost black hair framed a face with the perfect complextion. Her brown eyes always smirked at Faith.
“Anyway Lily, what did you do these holidays?” Faith asked as if at a tea party, although emphasising the use of the bigger girls real name.
“Tiger-Lily. Not Lily. I’m not some stupid flower.” Tigerlily narrowed her eyes at Faith. “Anyway, I’m not the pansy here.” Faith flinched. Pansy had been Sky’s pet name for her.
“Hey! Why you talking to that thing?” Shouted Ellie, Tigerlily’s best friend. Unlike Tigerlily, Ellie wasn’t so gently pretty. More obvious pretty. Her brown hair hung just above her shoulders, only a few touches darker then her skin. With gentle grey eyes she looked perfect. Faith envied both of them strongly, but she did what she could with her looks.
“Good question. I get better conversations from air.” Tigerlily hugged Ellie and laughed.
“I get better conversations from the voices in my head. Your just jealous cause you can’t hear them.” Faith replied before marching off.

Entering the school gates she looked around. There they were, all of them. She walked over and flashed everyone a smile, even Sky and Maddy, who were as usual holding hands. Abbi hugged her warmly, Danny hugged her, Chris hugged her and then hissed at everyone. Aiden just acted as though Faith didn’t exist, Sky smiled and murmured “Hey.” Although she swore she heard him add, “Pansy.” Turning to Maddy she hugged the girl. Surprising everyone she treated Maddy like a normal person. At this school, you needed as many friends as you could get.

Glancing at her timetable, Faith saw Art first thing. Mrs Marsh as well. “Shi-eep.” She muttered switching words as the head walked past. Pushing open the door to the art classroom she met the bony and strict face of Mrs Marsh. Who’d marry her? Faith found herself thinking, as she stuttered an apology and found her seat. In front of Sky.
“Right year ten. We’re starting a new project today. Self Portraits.” There was a murmuring of happiness around the room. “Not the usual self portraits though. We’re going to use pictures and colours to describe ourselves.” Everyone exchanged exited glances as the teacher swept around the room giving out red leather sketch books embossed with each students name. Just as Mrs Marsh turned around, a piece of paper slid itself under Faith’s table. Faith dropped her pen so she had an excuse to pick the paper up. Unfolding it she saw a drawing. She knew who it was from immedietly as only one person she knew could draw that well. It was an intricate picture of a dark Gothic chamber filled with weapons.

Underneath it, was a message.
“Selfish little, insignificant girl. You deserve every bad thing that’s ever happened to you.
Meet me after school. Outside the gates. And thank Sky for being the blind messenger.”

[[Wow two in one night? Credit for 'Tigerlily' goes to one of the best friends ever Tiff. And credit to 'Ellie' goes to an equally awesome friend Ellie!]]
