I just thought I'd come by and say hi...there are also a couple of other things...

1) I returned an entry from Subedding about *goes to find name* A973604 Technoshamanism/Shamans/Raves, there was a problem in that it may have been plagerised and Anna said she was gonna send it to you to find out about. I'm just interested to find out if anything happened with it?

2) Your name at the mo, are you trying to recruit for Community Artists? Cause I've been deliberating about whether to apply or not seeing I'm off to art college this year

also I just wanted to say hey and ask how you are as I haven't talked to you in ages really

Anna hasn't mentioned that entry to me that I remember, but it was a long weekend, so maybe it slipped either her mind or mine. I'll have a look into it now. If you are ever worried about something like this, then you can use the complaints button to alert the Moderators, and I'll find it that way and can look into it.

We are trying to recruit some more artists. They are a very small group, and we think that they need building up a little. We've put a mention on the Front Page in the hope that we'll get some more artists, so feel free to apply. If you've seen the type of work that we do as you've browsed the Guide, then you know the sort of art that we need. If you can do this, then we'll welcome you with open arms!

Thanks for your kind words about my entries. I don't get as much time to write as I used to, but I like to get one done every now and then.

By the way, did you know that your birthday is the same as mine?

Actually, I've just had a proper look at that entry, and I do remember looking into it before, and it's fine.

Ahh see I wasn't sure what to do as it was in my editing batch, so I decided the best thing to do was email someone and Anna's email address was the one at hand I'm glad it's okay

That's the thing, I don't know how ggod I'd be at it all, I mean I've seen some of the stuff people have had to do and it's great, and especially if it was to do with people, I'm no use at them really (thus why the course tutor says I'm going to struggle to start at college) I think I may at least go over and have a shot at it, I know Clelba said you get a practice blob to do before anything else so I guess that'll show how I handle it.

Well I'm just saying the truth. I especially like the one on Theseus, I've always liked Greek mythology Took me about 2 years to get up the courage in my work to send anything to PR and now I've got a couple in and a good half dozen edited I really enjoy writing for the Guide. In fact I enjoy everything about the Guide.

Um a quick technical question, I've been having problems with offensive emails coming through my email etc from friend in RL and tehrefore I'm changing my email address...I know how to change this on h2g2, which I'll have to do, but I don't know how to either redirect my ACE, SUB and Angel mail to another account.

I'm setting up a new email account today, but because I'm being forced to disband the other and not wanted to go on it, I'm already missing h2g2 mail and may continue to as I don't know how to go about changing it so it goes to another account...plus I have a horrible feeling I've forgotten my login for yahoo and that it's also in my current accounts name.

I thought I'd come ask, especially as I'll have to get my Sub-ed stuff redirected and change accoun info, and as it's because of reasons such as offensive behaviour I thought I should say.

Hi Em.

If you can remember the yahoo login, you can change it yourself, although I haven't found a way of deleting an old email address myself.


Otherwise we can delete the old account for you, although you might need to remind us of the email address. Then we can either send out another invite, or you can email in to [email protected] and we'll accept you (especially if I remember to tell the other ladies to expect them).

Sorry, I'm just so panicked about all the privacy stuff and having it invaded...ugh, anyway I just want to make sure everything's sorted and safe.

I'm not sure what you mean - if you change it in your preferences, we can find it when we need it, you don't need to email it to me. Is that what you meant? Or were you talking about Yahoo?

I've changed ISPs a few times since I've been online, and I have to change email address each time. There's always someone I forget to tell...

yep first time I've never not had strat as my email address I was getting abusive and disgusting messages from so called friends I've had to change everything and I know I'll have forgotten something

I hope the yahoo's okay, I'm still deleting old messages and personal info from my old account.

I'm sorry to hear that. When friends go bad, sounds like a channel 5 documentary!

Maybe we could even get it upgraded to an ITV 'Friends from Hell' type program. Actually (and I'm not sure I should say this, but there's only us here), they could do a lot worse than a 'Researchers from hell'.
