OK. The bottom line is this: my boyfriend has quite possibly broken his tailbone. I just don't want him becoming the butt of all your jokes, OK?

LOLOLOL! Awww...poor guy! I have never broken my tailbone but I've heard that it really REALLY hurts.
Send him my get-well wishes!!

He's in his own happy pain-killer world.
He had an x-ray done the other day and the results said, essentially, "This may indicate bone injury. Or not." You'd think people with BMW's would be more informative.
Anyhoo, his doctor said: yep, it's broken. Come back in a week and we'll see if it's mended itself, otherwise we might have to do something.
I love modern medicine.

I'm very sorry for him. Really.
*hides a laugh*
Laughing? Me? No... hehe... of course not.
I knew a girl who broke her tailbone. She had to sit on a rubber donut for AGES. Which we all, including her, found rather amusing. But then it didn't mend properly so she had to have all these special operations and it was very bad.
But I'm sure he'll be fine.

Dr. Krissy wants an update!!
How's he feeling? Is his doughnut ok?

He's actually reasonably OK, on the broken tailbone front - uh, back?, whatever - so I don't think it was as bad as the doctor first thought. He's got a terrible flu though and every time he sneezes - well that's when the pain kicks in and his eyes bug out of his head.

Make sure you keep superglue around. You don't want them to come out and stay out.
Eyeball should be IN the head.
Write that down.

Yes, yes. And the nose should definatly remain attached. Should the nose fall off, inform a doctor IMMIDATELY and have a Gin & Tonic.
