I wanted ankle boots. I'm quite particular I want a pair which are squarish rather than pointy (hate pointy for some reason), and are plain black. Also I don't like them being too high heeled, as it would never work with me, and end with my foot in a plaster. At the same time, I need to have some heels as I do like being taller - so 1.5 to 2 inch heels are suitable.
I just haven't been able to find the right type Either too high, or pointy, or too low or just too expensive or too weird
Turquoise is a strange colour...You need clothes to match and it's quite particular. Thats why I like black. It goes with everything!

so sorry i missed this then it fell to the next page
Pointy hurt your feet my work shoes do I got them before halloween and told everyone i was breaking them in to wear while i rode my broomstick ( they look kinda like witches shoes)
I just love buying shoes, thats the easy bit for me, it's getting something to wear with them thats the hard part I'm 5'2 so i have to get petite and a size 8 so i hate clothes shopping, ever noticed how you can always find every size but your own

aw. Tiny!
I'm 5'4. Problem with me is I'm quite particular with my clothing - I'm not very fashionable so wear whatever is decently priced and I think looks ok. Which is hard to find
oh well. I just don't like pointy as they look weird...I prefer squarish. I had to get a pair of work shoes a few months ago, as my old pair broke and there was no way I could get away with wearing them for even a day longer. So I spent a day in town looking in every shoe store - all the shoes were pointy and slip ons which I can't stand. So then I looked in the children's part of the shoe store and found the type I was looking for, but they were rounded....In the end I just bought them as needed shoes They're comfortable - just need to find something really smart for when I start work again (the one pair of smart shoes that I have are incredibly uncomfortable!)

Thats the only reason i bought new ones for work, mine were so comfy but when the heels worn down so much and the soles coming away time for a new pair, i nearly cried throwng them away they where like slippers All my other shoes are uncomfy i've decide thats the pain i've got to go through to be tall then i'll grin and bear it,the only flats i'll wear are my trainers or work shoes
About finding your shoes in the childrens part i do that with my trainers it's well cheaper if you've only little feet

yeah - i'm only a size 5 / 5 and a half. Everyone gives me odd looks when I tell them. Didn't realise they were that small!

Being patted on the head and being awed at because your shoes are smaller than everyone else's?

Yeah, but mostly they try make you get all the work done in normal time so it saves them from paying us more We do get two weeks off after christmas though so thats not to bad.

Ah gossip - I miss it
Haven't really had any interesting gossip for a while. You don't realise how much you miss something until you don't have it anymore...Odd that I should say that about gossip....
