Is it still hot over there?

It was much cooler this morning...clouds had rolled in,very moist...really knocked the temps down somewhat...really was a good break.

I heard on the radio that they were trying to call for a state of emergancy as temperatures were so high,is that true?

We've been facing the potential for major power outages and other heat related problems for the past 2 weeks...we have lost 16,000 head of cattle state wide,and we've seen people die also. It's been hairy out West this summer.But the entire country has been baking recently.

Sounds terriable! Global warming has a lot to answer for! But didn't Bush go against a move to help global warming not so long ago?

Yes..he seems to not get the picture...Not much we can do about that,unfortunately...

They are fab! Mine used to love grapes! and bread! and sox my dog used to get so jealous of them.They used to gang up on her and peck her!
