Gnomon - time to move on Started conversation Jan 25, 2011
We've been looked after nicely by the present Eds and the previous ones, so here's a sincere and genuine thank you all for the work you've done over the years.
It's a pity it has to end, but I've been expecting it for a while.
I hope that the BBC can find something for you to do, rather than you losing your jobs.
Thanks for all your work over the years
kea ~ Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small, unregarded but very well read blue and white website Posted Jan 25, 2011
Best wishes from me too. Hope you are all ok.

I agree with Gnomon, and I'd like to add that the new site is amazing - I never doubted you guys when you said you'd produce the goods. It's such a shame that all of this has to happen - if there's any way to keep the current Team with the site when it moves to new pastures, then I'm all for it.
Thanks for all your work over the years
2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Jan 26, 2011
From me too... To all the eds, past and present, without you... well it wouldn't have been the same decade we've all just had... and
with your futures weather still within the BBC or in pastures new
Thanks for all your work over the years

Thanks from the colonies as well. Well done, done well.
Try to ignore the loons and the w**kers (that's right, I said workers) and their fringey comments, most of us feel as is stated above.
Don't know where, don't know when (yet) but we'll meet again.
Thanks for all your work over the years

Thanks for all your good wishes, on behalf of the current staff and all the previous Editors. We're very proud of the work we've done over the last year, so your thanks is much appreciated. We're not sure whether any of the current staff will go with the site in its new incarnation, as our jobs are with the BBC not H2G2 per se, but you never know. But please be assured that wherever it goes, we'll be doing all we can to ensure that it is in safe hands.
Thanks for all your work over the years

What they all said, and then some...
Please dont mind that I talked about Stockholm Syndrome - I know that the various italics have been probably more frustrated than any of us.
The goodwill and good-heartedness and sheer bloody professionalism of all of the slanted ones over the years has never been in doubt.
Key: Complain about this post
