I need someone to remove the name that Emmily ACE put in the subject field infact wipe all the Welcome note thanks, I asked Emmily many months ago if she can wipe it and she gave me this place hope its the right place because theres loads i i've not subcribed to any threads that have appeard on my space just about what should be my friends list now how did they get there?
Just want you to remove WELCOME Hesley Hall or was it Wilsic Hall from all the subject fields as i'm no longer that name, just wish the ACES didn't use your screen name

These replies are based on the assumption that you are using the default skin Brunel:

1. If you want the welcome message on your user page hidden, press the 'Click to Make a Complaint' symbol in that posting (it looks like a red exclamation mark in a blue circle). Be sure to state clearly the reason why you wish to have it hidden.

2. The conversation threads that show on your user page are there because you have subscribed to 'new conversations' at Ask h2g2. Go to this page: <./>Askh2g2</.>, scroll all the way down and click on the link saying 'Click here to stop being notified of new Conversations about this Guide Entry'.

This will stop new threads from popping up on your list but, if you want to get rid of those that are already listed, you'll have to unsubscribe from each thread individually. The easiest way to do this is go to <./>MP4792777</.> and click on the small 'x' in front of each thread title that you want to take off the list.

3. Friends list:

If the names are listed under a title saying 'The following names are on your friends list:' then you can remove them by clicking on the 'Delete' link underneath each user name. The reason the names are there is because you have clicked on 'Add to Friends' while visiting their user page.

If the names are listed under a title saying 'The following people have you on their friends lists:' it means that those people have chosen to add *you* to *their* list of friends. I know it has been discussed if there's a way to delete those names, but I can't remember right now if a method was ever created.

Hi I don't think I explained very clearly i'm not on a PC but a digibox so I can not go onto (!) and click this symbol also I went on MP4792777 my U number I can't see any little x i've tryed wiping them one by one by unsubing them I also went onto older posings and there's loads of pages it would take me day's to wipe all, plus i'm not in Brunel but plain as if I was to use any other, it would chuck me out back to Email. All I want is the subject field removing from the welcome note that Emmily the ACE put simple as A,B,C, but I can't do it, god this place driving me up the wall, I can't get a simple answer... I KNOW what you can do just wipe my Personal space from the system PLEASE I also have tried this but of cause that doesn't even work as i'm on a stupid digibox!

Is there any chance you could get access to a PC? Because that would really be the easiest way to do all those things you want. Maybe at school/work/public library?

Try hitting the complaints button and delete Emmily's message on the grounds that the researcher's name is that of a real school and must be against the house rules.

lol School! The reason why I had this PS was to see if anyone that went to them schools was to see if any of them use this place!

But of cause it was to difficult to find out, and now i've asked, and asked, for the subject field to be removed but no one seems to be able to help, it's ok for those who use a PC, and no I CAN NOT get to a PC the Library near me don't have PC's oh BTW I have tryed wiping my space when I visited a pal up in Scotland, but so funny my PS still here!

So what do I do now?. Swear to get my PS removed from the system hey?
I just give up no wonder why loadsa folk leaving this place!

Think i'll just log off it's p*ss*ng me 0ff now! seems the filters or working You have the power to remove people from h2g2 so just remove me OK!!
