it's not right that he comes on here to make decent peoples lives a misery,surely your here to protect us from pests,
please read his posts and take action.

Under or by every post is a button that we call the "yikes" button. There's a legend at the bottom of the page that tells you it means "Click on this icon to make a complaint about a specific Posting", which is what you should do if someone is harassing you. Click on the button, and complain about the post. That's the quickest way to take care of problems like this.

I will stop by your space and take a look for myself, though.

CELTIC, if you follow Mikey's advice and use the complaints button on anything that you think breaks the <./>HouseRUles</.> then the Moderators can check them. As they work around the clock, it's a lot quicker than Posting to the Editors on site.

It looks like CELTIC is an ex LD user and might, therefore be on a digibox. If I remember from reading other people's postings, digibox users don't have the Yikes button available and therefore posting to the editors in this way is the only way to alert people to problems. Is that still the case, Mina?

We really need a member of the Community to complain about things like this - if all the complaints come in from the staff, then reactive moderation will be deemed not working.

Post #1 looks like a complaint from a member of the community

Post #4 summises that the complainant can't use the usual channels.

Post #6 directs the staff as to where to look.

What else do you need?

We need member of the Community to use the complaint button. The staff only complain about content that breaks the law and/or is *really* offensive and needs to be removed immediately. We're happy to look into harrasment, but we can't take any action if no content has been removed. As a member of the Community who has access to the complaints system has seen it, and *not* used the complaint button, there is little that we can do.
