A Pumford

My condolances go out to Douglas Adam's family on your tragic loss.

I only knew him through his work but even in that limited capacity I feel his passing with you like he was a close freind.

His legacy will be the laughter he gave the world and the thoughts he provoked in us all.

Yours,

Alec Pumford,

A long time fan of the genius of Douglas Adams.

Jon Quixote: steaming little purple buns for tea.

I am exceptionally sorry for his family. I am also sorry for the world as we have lost a comic genius.

I just recently started to read the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, and I can tell, only after reading the first few chapters, that it is a brilliant book, and that Douglas Adams must have been a literary genius.

My deepest condolances to his family and to all his fans all over the world.

Douglas Adams: A frood who really knew were his towel was. The world will sorely miss your superlative defying wit and originality.
