Well, this is a huge place with tons of articles, conversations, journals and places of interest. Start by looking around for articles of an interesting subject. Then read the conversations attached to those articles. Comment when you feel like it. If you click on someone's name, you are taken to their space where you can see their page, their conversations, Journals, and any articles they may have written.
It's a great place to spend time, and I have made a large number of close friends as a resutlt of being around here.
