Baboon

I am new to the guide. I have like Douglas Adams books and assorted other jazz for a long time though. Living in the arse end of the world means that I only recently discovered the guide. I like all nerdy things, like Futurama, Sci-Fi, some Fantasy, and technology. But I'm technologically inept. I can say that because I'm a girl, and so its not so embarassing. So I can't work half the stuff on the guide, and have only just learnt to do smiley - smiley thingys. So anytime you feel like dispensing advice as to what is good about the guide to me, I'd be grateful. I also like all different kinds of music. Living in New Zealand, its hard not to love dub. Its the national sound, I guess. But I also love old British punk, like the Buzzcocks, Sex Pistols, Siouxsie Sioux etc. And Drum n'Bass, as well as old guitar rock, like Deep Purple and their new imitators the Datsuns. What kind of music do you like?

Hi There. I am glad to meet you.
I am a relatively old hand at The Guide, been here since nearly the beginning.

I listen to a lot of music. Opera, Techno, 80's New Wave, Classic Rock, Jazz... I find music to be one of the most expressive forms of entertainment.

Any advise you need, please just let me know. If I can't help, I can certainly find out who can.

Marv
